Reynolds Groundwork Services Ltd was established in 2006 and has grown to become one of the UK's leading specialist groundworks and civil engineering contractors. From our base in Buckinghamshire, we operate across the UK, delivering high-quality projects for a diverse range of clients.

Our Commitments

Reynolds puts the Health and Safety of its workforce at the heart of every project. Our accident rate remains well below the national industry average and are committed to continual improvement to ensure safe working conditions for all.

To achieve this, our training policy ensures all personnel have the skills and qualifications to carry out their duties safely and meet all statutory requirements.

We are committed to full NVQ CSCS CPCS cards for our workforce.

In addition, we have our own internal standards of competency and provide in-house training in all below before we are sending you out onto a project.

Key accreditations and standards we adhere to include SafeContractor, CHAS (Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme), and the NHS Contractors assessment programme.

Our Directors are CITB SMSTS qualified. They also hold management level NVQs alongside NEBOSH certifications. Our site management team are all trained to the highest standards.

Site Managers are CITB SMSTS qualified. This level of management will also complete Temporary Works Coordinator training to ensure they plan and manage Temporary Works to the British standard BS 5975.

Site Supervisors and Foremen have regular Health and Safety Awareness training. They will also complete CITB SSSTS to ensure they are competent to supervise the works. First Aid training is also compulsory.

Groundworkers will complete Abrasive Wheels, Cable Avoidance (CAT) & Genny training, Spade and Awareness programmes.

Plant operators are CITB CPCS accredited for the categories of plant they will operate.

At Reynolds we are aware of the impact our operations can have on the environment.

We strive to do whatever we can to minimise this impact, and constantly review our processes to work in a more environmentally friendly way.

During construction, we focus on ways to achieve reductions in our carbon footprint. It is our intention to ensure that there is a reduction in our CO2 output.

We have actively committed to:

  • Recycle and Reduce Waste
  • Eliminate and reduce the use of Toxic Substances
  • Improve methods and processes for recycling
  • Harvest rainwater and maximise the reuse of Stormwater
  • Reduce our impact on bio-diversity
  • Seek changes in the construction of structures to maximise energy efficiency
  • Will investigate and endeavour to overcome all harmful and noisy activities, plant and equipment
